In Memory of Willie

1981 - 2007

Our  "main man" is a 1981 model paint gelding named Willie, he was my 4-H horse way back when.  Miranda showed lead-line at her first show, August 23, 2003, 2 days before her 5th birthday.    Willie is still going strong in 2006 and handsome as ever- wish I could clone him or find another one like him.  We lost Willie this Thanksgiving to kidney failure.  He will be missed.

Tucker was broke the fall of 2004 and has been trail ridden - this fall (07) he went back to the trainer for some exposure to cattle and reining. "Tucker" is definitely a horse with reining, cutting or working cowhorse potential.  He's easy to train, retains what he's taught  and loves to work.  He goes easily and lightly in a bosal and works great in a snaffle bit also.  This horse can move- has a great start to his spin, quick on his feet, nice roll backs, clean mover.  He really is light on the rein and is waiting for your next cue.  He has a big eye and uses it to take it all in.  He's very smart and has been great to work with.  Sensibility, athletic ability, intelligence, conformation and cow sense.  Tucker is for sale - $2500
